Olympus GF-UCT240 Ultrasound Gastrovideoscope

The Olympus GF-UCT240 is an advanced ultrasound gastrovideoscope developed to support modern endoscopic ultrasound procedures with outstanding imaging quality and procedural precision. Combining high-resolution endoscopic visualization with real-time ultrasound imaging, this system helps clinicians evaluate gastrointestinal structures and perform minimally invasive diagnostic interventions with confidence.

Designed with a slim 12.6 mm insertion tube and a generous 3.7 mm working channel, the Olympus GF-UCT240 allows smooth insertion of aspiration needles, biopsy forceps, and other therapeutic accessories. Its ergonomic design supports comfortable handling while improving procedural efficiency during routine and advanced examinations.

Advanced Endoscopic Ultrasound Imaging

The system incorporates a linear convex ultrasound transducer capable of operating at multiple frequencies, including 5, 6, 7.5, and 10 MHz. This flexibility enables detailed visualization of both superficial and deeper anatomical structures, making it suitable for a wide range of EUS-guided FNA and diagnostic applications.

The 55° oblique viewing direction and 100° field of view provide excellent visualization during examinations, while the depth of field ranging from 3 mm to 100 mm supports accurate assessment of tissue layers and surrounding structures.

Doppler Ultrasound Capabilities

The Olympus GF-UCT240-AL5 includes multiple imaging modes, such as:

  • B-Mode Imaging
  • M-Mode Imaging
  • Colour Doppler
  • Power Doppler

These advanced ultrasound functions help clinicians assess vascular flow patterns and tissue characteristics with greater confidence during endoscopic ultrasound procedures.

Designed for EUS-Guided Interventions

The large 3.7 mm instrument channel supports a variety of accessories used in EUS-guided fine needle aspiration (FNA) and therapeutic interventions. Combined with excellent angulation control (130° up, 90° down, and 90° left/right), the scope provides improved access and manoeuvrability during complex procedures.

Broad System Compatibility

The Olympus GF-UCT240 integrates seamlessly with Olympus imaging platforms and ultrasound processors, including:

  • Olympus CV-240
  • Olympus CV-260
  • Olympus EU-ME1
  • Olympus EU-ME2

This broad compatibility makes it a practical solution for hospitals, endoscopy centres, and gastroenterology departments seeking a reliable Olympus EUS endoscope.
